Hair & Wigs

With NVQ Level 3 qualifications in hairdressing and over a decade of experience in historical hairdressing from Iron Age Warriors to 80's mohawks, we've got the knowhow to style hair or wigs appropriately whilst following industry regulations.

We took on the responsibility of maintaining and styling the gentlemen's wigs during Dialogues of the Carmelites (2023) throughout the run. This was particularly challenging as there was only half an hour between fight calls and curtain up in which to style the wigs, which were kicked across stage during the performance.

A modified version of the hairstyles in vogue in the late 1700's. A chignon was created at the back of the head rather than high on the crown to allow for an on-stage change into a Carmelite habit for the character of Blanche de la Force.
